If you can’t sign in, you can reset your password in a few steps. You’ll need access to the email address on your Tangles account.
Shortcut: open “Need help logging in?” and follow the prompts.
Reset your password
- Go to the login screen and click Need help logging in?.
- Choose Reset password and enter your account email.
- Check your inbox for an email from Tangles and click the reset link.
The link expires for security—use it soon. - Enter a new password and confirm it, then submit.
- Sign in with your new password.
Not seeing the email? Check spam/junk, search “Tangles password”, or wait a minute and try Resend.
Did you sign up with Phone?
- Phone login: Use Log in with Phone to receive a code via SMS—no password needed.
Security tips for your new password
- Use at least 12 characters (mix of letters, numbers, and symbols).
- Avoid reusing passwords from other sites.
- Consider a password manager to generate/store strong credentials.
Troubleshooting
- You don’t remember the email: Try any addresses you own. If you still can’t find it, contact support with proof of account ownership.
- The reset link expired: Go back to Need help logging in? and request a new link.
- No email received after multiple tries: Ensure you entered the correct address and check spam, filters, and security folders.
- Account locked due to too many attempts: Wait a few minutes and try again, or use phone login if you’ve added a phone number.
